Freedom, Voting & The Raw Truth.
Freedom. What does it mean? Merriam Webster defines it as the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action. Are we truly free? What is it that you need to survive? And who and what are tied to those needs and your actions?
True freedom, to me, is mythical & rare like a unicorn or, I don’t know, loyalty. I was taught as a teenager the 12 Jewels of Islam from the Nation of Gods & Earths by the same people who helped me become a better emcee. Shoutout to the heads like Brotha SAMM, Graveyard Shifter, Subliminal Tha 7th Born, Lord Zero, Aries (RIP) & others who shared knowledge when they really didn’t have to even acknowledge me. Let’s talk about the 4th jewel, though.
4. FREEDOM – Freedom is what the Gods of the universe demand immediately. Freedom is the ability to choose what you want for yourself and your family without interference from the devil and his wicked civilization.
It is obvious devils have conspired to keep our entire civilization in the predicaments the many nations on the planet currently face. Even the word “planet” could be considered a type of portmanteau of “plan” and “net”. Was it planned for us to be trapped without freedom in life?
Whatever Higher power you trust in appointed you as a custodian of your body, first, and then our domain on this terra firma. Think about the responsibility that comes with! We are carbon beings with more than enough to satisfy us all manifold; yet somewhere along the line we were tricked into forgetting this and believing the lie that we are inadequate and unable to fulfill these responsibilities. Once you believe that you aren’t worth anything that’s when anything can happen to you.
This is the most common trick in removing freedom. Coercion delivers quick results but ultimately destroys the user in total (mental, physical, spiritual, etc.) It also requires vast reserves of energy and resources to maintain while this mental trick is something that becomes socially viral, taking on a life of its own and becoming so integrated into the people that it is genetically passed down from generation to generation. Those traumas & baggage that we face and often become repeating themes in life.
Deprived of self love, our debts become heavier and heavier. It’s clear that we are here on the planet to accomplish great work before returning to our Creator. We are told in many different religions throughout time that this is the true freedom - “Nirvana” or the ultimate salvation from all debts in this physical realm (body and all) to obtain pure bliss & joy without the worry, right?
That’s a deep ass thought to consider. In Supreme Mathematics (also of the Nation of Gods & Earths) the number 4 is tied to Freedom but also one’s Culture. Your culture is your way of life, (attitudes, beliefs, actions & dress, food, etc.) If these things are all predicated on freedom and they start with a thought... it’s time to get back to basics and change our thoughts. Maybe then we can fulfill our true purpose instead of feeding into systems that only want to use us as a means to an end. And that end sees you dried up, destroyed & discarded. We need our own. A year ago, I was blessed to be able to travel to Cuba and experience a Culture that many in America have demonized. They have their own set of problems that comes with that type of government but what I will say is a lot of the debts that we face here in America aren’t a reality for Cubans.
Makes you wonder why.
I’m on this path, too. I don’t know everything and typing this out is just a way for me to make sense life during this U.S. presidential election. If you are wondering, yes, I did vote because of my concern with local politics but I may not be participating in this moving forward. I see the value in local because it’d be nice if the people in that system are people I am more likely to encounter actually living in my city. That’s all about accountability, especially when dealing with the policies that impact everyday life. So forgive me if I stumble. Hold me accountable and I’ll do the same for you. Until we can create our own.
